Thirty years ago today, the fictional characters in the iconic 80s movie The Breakfast Club first sat down for Saturday morning detention.
Since then, the movie has become an anthem for teenage angst, especially with its theme song Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds.
The film came out in 1985 to positive ratings and helped fortify its young cast as of Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, and Paul Gleason as stars.
