They are very similar to breakfasts in the USA. Maple syrup is popular in Canada, so you will probably have the option with your breakfast.
In Australia, they also have cereal, oatmeal (also called porridge) and toast during the week. Vegemite is a spread made up of vegetable extracts, and it is a favourite in Australia and you usually have it for breakfast on your toast. However, some people find it quite strong. Smoothies and orange juice are quite common to have with your breakfast as fruit and vegetables are usually included in every Australian meal.

Breakfast in New Zealand is very similar to Australian breakfast. On the weekends or at a restaurant, you may find other meals like eggs Benedict, which poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on toast, sometimes with bacon, salmon or spinach. You might also find beans on toast, pancakes, yogurt, and smoothies. Breakfast nearly always includes coffee, tea or both.
