The Kitchen is a community style seating restaurant. The concept is all about facilitating a gathering place just like Mama’s kitchen. There’s a location in Denver but the Kitchen’s original location downtown Boulder serves brunch until 2 p.m. The housemade cornbeef hash with poached eggs is a fan favorite. The Goat Gouda Omelet is also an excellent choice.Lucile’s Creole Cafe
275 S. Logan St.
Lucile’s is like going over to someone’s house for breakfast. You’ll feel right at home. Start with a beignet and coffee while you try to decide what you’ll have for breakfast. There’s a lot of heavenly goodness on Lucille’s menu. Creole dishes include the Creole omelet, shrimp and grits and the Cajun style salmon served with eggs, grits and potatoes. If you love the flavor, be sure to take home a bottle of Lucile’s Creole seasoning.Snooze An AM Eatery
700 N. Colorado Blvd.
Drive past Snooze on a Saturday or Sunday morning and there is always a wait down the block. Good things are worth waiting for and Snooze is just that. The wait at this location is even a bit longer than the one in Boulder, which is the Snooze brother’s very first location. The Chile Verde Benny is a big hit. It’s slow-cooked pulled pork with green chile hollandaise, pico de gallo and cotija cheese topped with two poached eggs on house made corn tortillas. Pair it with a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa from the full bar. Snooze is only open for breakfast and lunch.
